Position sensing applications may be able to use
DC Voltage and Current input monitors
Serial input monitors or
Slidewire input monitors
depending on the output of the transducer in use in the application.

Various AIC instruments can be used in position sensing using various techniques. These include quadrature encoders and SSI (Synchronous Serial Interface transducers.
